Guests are welcome to enjoy the grounds during their stay with us. Boundaries are clearly marked either by fencing or by our pretty burn to the west and north of the estate which used to feed the castle moat.
The formal two - acre walled garden is a haven of colour and tranquillity for all who stay. Guests are free to help themselves to home-grown fruits and vegetables, when available.
Otherwise, enjoy a stroll across expansive lawns, part-planted with magnificent rhododendrons and specimen trees. Mown paths guide you through more densely planted areas.
